Exciting News from Birla Open Minds International School! We recently took part in the remarkable “Know Your Army” festival at Lucknow Cantonment. This event was not just a display of strength but also an educational journey for our students.The festival included an array of arms and ammunition on display, from awe-inspiring war tanks to advanced military gear. Army personnel were on hand, providing our students with detailed explanations of the technical aspects and usage of this equipment.In addition to these demonstrations, the event was enriched with fire drills and diverse dance performances, showcasing India’s cultural heritage in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Ji It was a day that combined learning with patriotism, leaving our students with a profound appreciation for our armed forces. “No Fire Cooking Contest” took place with great enthusiasm on August 19th at the esteemed Birla Open Minds International School, which is situated on the distinguished Ayodhya Road in the vibrant city of Lucknow. This unique competition showcased the culinary talents of young minds in an innovative and safe manner.
Emerging victorious in this fireless cooking spectacle were the following remarkable individuals:
Securing the prestigious 1st Place was none other than Kritisha Singh, a brilliant student hailing from Grade 4.
Garnering a well-deserved 2nd Place was the talented Naisha Rai, a student belonging to Grade 3.
Claiming an impressive 3rd Place was Advait Thakur, another participant from Grade 3.
Their exemplary skills, creativity, and dedication undoubtedly shone through in this distinctive culinary contest. Heartiest congratulations are extended to these gifted winners for their outstanding accomplishments in this competition.
Kalash Decoration Competition
- The triumphant Kalash Decoration Competition was successfully held on August 19th at Birla Open Minds Ayodhya Road, in collaboration with Bhartiya Sanskritik Saptah. Students from Grades 6 to 8 showcased their ingenuity, adorning ordinary pots with vibrant ribbons, decorative mirrors, and various materials. The event celebrated artistry and culture while fostering creativity. Judges from the organization evaluated the participants’ exceptional work, highlighting their skill and dedication. Summer Camp Activities
An exciting and enriching summer camp at Birla Open Minds Ayodhya Road! happened from May 15th to May 31st, everyday, two hours of fun-filled activities from 6:30 am to 8:30 am took place. Activities included sports, music, dance, arts and crafts, spoken English, mental mathematics, and a computer workshop. Our experienced instructors guarantee an engaging and fun-filled experience with a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment. So, what are you waiting for? World Creativity and Innovation Day Activity
World Creativity and Innovation Day is celebrated on April 21. The day is marked to raise awareness about the important roles that innovation and creativity play in every aspect of human development. The main idea behind celebrating this day is to encourage people to come up with multi-disciplinary thinking both at individual and group levels.
World Earth Day Activity
We at Birla Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road celebrated this special day by educating our little ones about the significance of preserving nature. This planet takes care of us, so let’s return the favor by celebrating International Mother Earth Day as a reminder that the Earth and its ecosystems provide us with life and sustenance.
Eid Celebration Activity
Some Glimpses of Eid Festival activities On the occasion of Eid our students of Birla Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road came to know Why Eid is Celebrated, Eid-ul-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, the month that follows Ramadan. This day is a celebration of the spiritual accomplishments and self-discipline achieved during the month of Ramadan.
World Malaria Day Activity
At Birla Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road, we also took the opportunity to educate our students about malaria prevention. By raising awareness and taking action, we can contribute to the global fight against this disease. World Malaria Day is celebrated on April 25th every year to raise awareness about the global efforts to control and prevent malaria, a life-threatening disease caused by a parasite transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes. This day also aims to highlight the progress made in fighting against malaria, and to mobilize resources and support for the ongoing malaria control and elimination programs around the world.
International Guide Dog Day Activity
At Birla Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road, we celebrated International Guide Dog Day by teaching our students about the important work done by these amazing animals. We explained what guide dogs are and how they help people with visual impairments navigate the world safely. To make the day even more fun, our students also participated in a dog-drawing activity, where they used their creativity to draw some incredible renditions of dogs.
Art and Craft Workshop
Today, the students of Birla Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road discovered some amazing art techniques and unleashed their inner artists with an art and crafts workshop led by certified expert Madam Pooja Srivastava. The children had a ton of fun , check out some of the amazing artwork created during our workshop.

Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road proudly hosted its prestigious Investiture Ceremony on the 10th of May, an event that marked a significant milestone in the school’s calendar. The ceremony commenced with great pomp and grandeur, graced by the presence of our esteemed Chairman, Shri Ram Shankar Verma, and our respected Principal, Madam Vibha Ahuja. The momentous occasion was further elevated with a spectacular march past, showcasing discipline, unity, and pride among the student body. The deserving candidates were adorned with badges. The Investiture Ceremony serves as a platform to empower young leaders and instill in them the values of integrity, compassion, and excellence. It is a testament to our commitment to the overall holistic development of the students!
Special Assembly
At Birla Open Minds International School Ayodhya Road, we conducted a special assembly focusing on important topics such as anti-bullying, respect for the opposite gender, respecting the personal boundaries of others, and the harmful effects of using foul language in school. We discussed the challenges faced by young boys and girls during their puberty years and emphasized the importance of treating each other with kindness, managing their feelings and urges, empathy, and respect. Let’s work together to create a safe and inclusive school environment where every student feels valued and supported!
Fun Fair
BOMIS Funfair was one of the biggest celebrations in the city and not only did we have parents and kids attending from our school , we also had alot of enthusiastic and excited parents & kids join us from all over Lucknow.Children loved our laughter riot clowns and jugglers and the colorful vibe, carnival games and music made our BOMIS FUNFAIR even more quirky.
